Chapter 16: Be quiet and Listen

O Lord … Today I’d like to offer you a short poem as my prayer.

Every day
We are busy
We work
We go here and there
Getting confused
So much complexity
We listen
All around us
Arguing
Only when we have time
Do we (sometimes) pray
But do we “listen”?
God speaks to us
In what manner?
If we don’t listen
Even though we may pray
How will God
Communicate with us?
Each day
We should have
One brief moment
To be quiet and listen
To God’s voice
Then we’ll know
How much
God loves us!
For me I already know, my Lord :)

“Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.” Proverb 23:12
